In times of the internet, our ways to interact change. It has become easier to connect to people from far away, and to many it has become more difficult to connect to people from the same place. One advantage is that it is way more efficient now to find people with similar interests and opinions. This article is going to be about why and how you can use that opportunity.
It seems obvious that it's comforting to talk to people that are similar in any way, because you can be confirmed in your personality. But the misbelief comes in when people think in order to learn a lot they'd need to interact more with people that are completely different. That's another aspect. A lot of traits will be more likely to be appreciated by similar people. But not only will they appreciate your traits, you also will appreciate their traits and realize they are also yours.

Especially with someone you feel safe with, you can try new things and test your boundaries. You can talk about your challenges and try to find solutions together. And similar personalities make it easier to merge into one big mind, with twice the experience, and twice the capacities.
