to all those who want to change the world but can't

You might have clicked on this article because you want to change the world but can't. You feel like there is something wrong, maybe a lot, and you think you know what is wrong and needs to be changed. Maybe you have ideas how that could be done. Maybe you even have a whole new paradigm in mind how it could look like in a better future. But you don't succeed with realizing that.

First of all: I see you. And I'm sure, at least something about your ideas is valid and should be realized. And I think it's important that you feel better again.

So, you have an idea that you want to change the world with, right? Stop letting that idea control you. Make yourself aware, that there is a line between your present and that idea. This idea is obviously not a first step. It's a goal. It is not for now. That doesn't mean that doing it wouldn't be important or urgent, I'm not saying that. Maybe it will be important, but not now. When the realization of an idea is evidently impossible in the present, it can't be an idea for the present, because there has to happen something inbetween. So, after realizing that, wonder if it's still urgent to you, or if something else comes into your focus. If something else comes, deal with that, because things come into your focus for a reason, and when you can't control your focus, you can't control anything. If this new thing feels as urgent as the first one has felt, follow the same procedure like with the first one and make that a goal. Repeat that process until something stays in your mind even though you have detached from it and made it a goal.

Now you have a goal. And, by the way, it doesn't matter how unrealistic that is, it sticks in your mind, so it's a need that needs to be fulfilled. Make that one a priority until you can let go of it. Now, ask yourself if you can do that immediately. If yes, do that.

If no, ask what the first step is and if you can do that. If yes, do that.

If no, ask what the first step is and if you can do that. If yes, do that.

If no, ... you get the point. Follow that until you have actually done something.

I hope I could help you with being productive.
